Ted, Griffin, Rowan, Gavin and I are featured in a lovely article about bedtime reading by Andrea Gordon in The Toronto Star. We were so excited to be asked to participate in The Star‘s series on sleep, and Andrea told a lovely story about my favourite time of day. (Thank you, Kerry, for making the introduction!)
On to Mary Poppins!
What a beautiful piece! I would have loved it even if it didn’t feature you, and your presence made it that much more delightful. Well done, Foy-Betts’s!
That’s great and I think it still works with adults. I know that if I listen to an audiobook for half an hour or so before I go to bed I feel much more relaxed than if I’ve been watching the television, say.
And it is a lovely article! (Though I would feel a bit odd having someone taking photos of me in bed even if it was simply whilst reading aloud!) I’m sure the boys were tickled though. And, oh, Mary Poppins: also lovely!
